The Grand Balcony

This summer, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables before a flight out of Miami. Our room opened to the largest private balcony I have ever seen in my life. The hotel lobby bar was cute, but I stumped the bartender with my request for a mocktail. This recipe is based on the off-hand rattle of ingredients I gave him.

Ingredients:

  •  4 oz – Grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz – Lime juice
  • 0.5 oz – Simple syrup
  • 2 oz – Ginger beer
  • Lime wedge (garnish)

Step 1:

In a glass, mix together grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Top with ice.

Step 2:

Add ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge.
