Mangrove Mist nonalcoholic cocktail in a straight-edged small tumbler glass

Mangrove Mist

Don’t let the frothy top and warm color fool you – this nonalcoholic cocktail has a bite! The ginger shrub and tea-infused whiskey gives this recipe a complex flavor that swirls between tart, sour, and mellow.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz – Whiskey Alternative (infused with Earl Grey Tea)
  • 1 oz – Ginger Shrub
  • 2 oz – Lime juice
  • 2 oz – Honey Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz – Aquafaba
  • Dehydrated Lime Wheel (garnish – optional)

Step 1:

In an airtight container, infuse 1 cup of whiskey alternative (we used Spiritless Kentucky 74) with 5 bags of your choice of Earl Grey Tea for 4 hours (up to 24 hours). The longer the infusion, the more tea flavor you will gain in the final drink. This will make enough infused n.a. spirit for 4 Mangrove Mist cocktails.

Step 2:

In a shaker, combine the tea-infused whiskey alternative, ginger shrub, lime juice, honey simple syrup, and aquafaba. Dry shake for 30 seconds.

Step 3:

Strain into a low tumbler glass with ice. Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel.
