Sometimes the magic of Disney will take you to surprising places and spaces if you’re willing to go with the flow. The Belle Vue Lounge at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is one of those places. Years ago (pre-pandemic), we stumbled upon this tiny bar and lounge while resort hopping. Styled after a 1930s sitting room, the decor features old board games, books, and radios. When our day went sideways during a recent trip to EPCOT, we found ourselves looking for a place to relax and grab a drink.

The Agave Garden is a new addition to the menu, and features Lyre’s Agve Reserva Spirit, as well as lime juice, a green tea with passionfruit and papaya, as well as cucumber. If you’re not a fan of cucumber, don’t worry – the taste is very subtle. At $11, this was still cheaper than my friend’s Gimlet at $17.50. Garnished with a slice of jalapeno and an orange peel, this drink does have a little kick but is very sippable.

Next time you’re near the Boardwalk, I highly recommend dropping by. Hint: pull a book off the shelf and scribble a note on your napkin. Trust me…this is a tradition few know about but makes your visit so much better!
